Naenae College Blasted for ‘Begging to be Robbed’ After Keys Left in Unlocked Drawer Leads to Joyride Disaster!

Naenae College

It was reported that Naenae College had their school van stolen and crashed, leaving them scrambling to figure out how to transport their special needs students to a swimming carnival. But let’s be real here, folks. This is a classic case of personal irresponsibility.

The keys to the van were left in an unlocked drawer. That’s right, an unlocked drawer. It’s like they were practically begging for someone to come along and take the van for a joyride. I mean, how difficult is it to lock a drawer? It’s not rocket science, people.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “But, surely the school can’t be held responsible for the actions of a thief!” And to that, I say nonsense. If you leave your keys out in the open, you’re just asking for trouble. It’s like leaving a steak on the ground and expecting a dog not to eat it.

The principal, Chris Taylor, had the audacity to say that the students have had resources “pinched out of their pockets.” Well, maybe if the school had taken some personal responsibility and kept their keys secure, those resources wouldn’t have been “pinched” in the first place.

Staff members frenqency leave wads of cash in the draws and let’s not forget about the vandalism that the school has been experiencing. Windows smashed every weekend? Sounds like a lack of security to me. Maybe instead of whining about how much it’s going to cost to fix everything, the school should invest in some decent locks and security measures.

This is a prime example of what happens when you don’t take personal responsibility for your own safety and security. Naenae College has no one to blame but themselves for this fiasco. Maybe next time they’ll think twice before leaving their keys in an unlocked drawer.
